Personally, I think 3+ is already a nice amount :D It's easy for people to navigate and have a quick peek, too! But of course, if you're more comfortable waiting that's totally fine! The last few recs posts I can see have single digit recs, and so did most of my own.
Many people are very shy about posting in comms, so mods often have a weekly post of some sort to allow people to share their recs in comments (my comm does the same thing), which feels lesser pressure. It's definitely not a requirement though, I think it'd be really cool to share your recs in their own post!
epic_recs look really neat!! Like, focused on long fics?? That's cool! I'm not sure that specific rec comms would do well in current times, but it's really neat that it existed :D Thank you for the link!
